HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUBBY!!!

This is the first time hubbbb and I celebrated birthday overseas!

Yay!

We went to lotsa places on the day~

Here's the itinerary for the day:

Morning: Dim Sum Breakie at Oriental Legend Restaurant

I must say, I still prefer dim sum at 悦港 xD

Next, we headed to 方村

A place that houses bizarre pets (tortoises especially), corals, carvings and stuffs you rarely see in any Penang markets.

Hmm.. It's interesting to see that many species of tortoises available in the market!

That's all about pets section.

Coming up, plants, carvings and tree stones (@.@).

The carvings made out of coral (Refer pic 3) are just aammazing!

Every single detail on it is just exquisite.

I wonder how long these china ppl actually took to carve out that whole big thing!

I really salute them.

Anyhow, it's a great experience to to walk this little village and get a glimpse of China ppl's lives

What they do for a living, bizarre things they sell and their talents.

Il Tempio - My Birthday Treat

I've totally forgotten to update about my birthday celebration this March
At Il Tempio
Special thanks to my hubby ❤
Who brought me to this wonderful place  ^^

Il Tempio as the name suggest, is an Italian cuisine
Or should I say, Italian fine dining
It was a Saturday nite's romantic dinner that I will never forget.

The-forget-me-not-restaurant is located at Taman Tun Abdul Razak
Actually, it is located at a place called Samadhi Retreats
Where it houses 5 luxury restaurants, with Il Tempio being one of them
It takes bout 30-40min drive from PJ
And it's locate at a hilltop
Well, not really on a hilltop
But slightly uphill

So we parked at an open car park
Walked our way up the slope to the main entrance
It's kinda rocky right there
As the car park is not covered in tar
It's pure sands and rocks
So my advice: try not to wear high heels for comfort walk

The walkway down to the restaurant's filled with 'laddered-steps'
Besides, the whole stretch of walkway is filled with plants, trees and flowers
Resulting in the air so fresh that you won't even feel uneasy or impatient for the long walk!
It's as if you're walking in the nature!
Furthermore, the little candles lit along the path as well as yellow-lit-lights among the plants
Make the whole place so serene, and you could feel their warmth welcome to Il Tempio~

So down down down we went

I tell you, it is so totally love at first sight when we reached!
The deco, landscape, and the lightings
Especially the lightings!
The blue lights make the dining place Oh-So-Romantic!

So upon reaching the restaurant, we were served by a waitress to our table
And once again, I fell in love with the whole place
The blue lightings, that illuminate the while-nicely-set table with a soft blue hue
Makes the whole place so so ROMANTIC!!
You just can't help but to LOVE THAT PLACE!

Enough about the views
Now what's more important is the food!
I tell you what
It's definitely a place worth every single penny!!
The food is so saliva-droopingly-uber Delicious!

where the salmon is wrapped with a skin and shaped
to a round wanton! Uber Delicious!

I've never tasted an Italian cuisine like this
I love everything about Il Tempio
From its unique layout to its food
It's definitely a place to recommend and I assure you,
You will definitely end up with a satiated belly! :)
