My first ever shocking experience in taking McD delivery!!
This was what happened..
7.56pm
I was lazy to drive out to tapao food
So..
I Called 1300-13-1300 instead
Ordered 1 set of Chicken McDeluxe + choc sundae ice cream
Noted my order number and amount
Waiting for my delivery to arrive
Almost 8.30pm
I heard dogs barking around my neighborhood
Cos usually when delivery men come
My neighbors' dogs will surely bark like mad
Don't ask me why..
Maybe they smelled food too?
I dunno..
So anyway, when I heard dogs barking
I figured the delivery man could have arrived
So without thinking much
I grabbed my keys and went downstairs
As I was descending the flight of stairs,
I noticed the hall was quite dimly lit
Cos the hall's light wasn't turned on
The only source of light came from the kitchen
So fine, it wasn't very dark after all
So I didn't bother to switch on any lights in the hall
Once I made my last step from the stairs
I automatically held out my right arm to open the wooden door
Once the door swung open
I saw a black figure standing in front of the door AND
I GOT A HELL OF A SHOCK
OF MY LIFE!!!
I immediately let out a yell of shock!
Cos there wasn't any lightings on the car porch and it was kinda
dark in the hall
And smore my housemate drove her car out
Leaving the whole car porch outside empty and in almost total darkness
Cos if there's a car in the car porch
No matter how dimly lit the hall is
You can still see the car clearly cos of the reflection
After the shock,
I took a good look at the black figure
Only I realised that delivery man was clad in red and yellow shirt
Turning left
Trying to
See the figure ($$) on the receipt
HO CAI
Than man didn't straight away look into my face
If he terus looked at me when I opened the door
I will surely pass out!!!!!
xia si wo le!!!!
And why I had such a big shock
Cos usually the delivery man will park the motor outside of the house
and wait outside
then will ring the doorbell
Then I will know the delivery man is here
This time, there wasn't any doorbell ringing
So I assumed that the delivery man had probably just arrived
And was taking out the food, drink
Preparing change, etc
So I never thought the delivery man will come in
Then mana tau he terus appeared in front!!!
After the shock, as the man turned around,
He could see that I got scared
And probably I look funny or stupid
I could see he WANTED TO LAUGH!!!
so Kanasai!
And he probably saw I frowned when he wanted to laugh
I could see he forced himself to stop, so he just giggled and said: "Just now I knocked the wooden door you didn't hear?"
I said OF COURSE CAN'T HEAR LA!
I stayed upstairs ma
And in my heart I was thinking:
Even if you want people to hear
You should RING THE DOORBELL!!!
Sweat AH!!

Another 12mins to my birthday~~ Well, I don't know why, but I don't feel excited about it. Probably due to 'you're-so-getting-old' line keeps nagging in my mind. Anyway, it's my big day of the year today, I've set my usual wishes and I hope everything goes well as I wished.
My internship with UHY had finally come to an end since 25th Feb 2011. I'm glad I chose the right firm, and the right time for an internship. No doubt the workload was kinda heavy (as compared to other interns :P), but I managed to pull through well enough. :) Also, I enjoyed working along my fellow colleagues and every bits of learning experiences I gained.
Another sem has just begun. It's already week 2. It's time to get going on making my own notes and no more lagging behind. It's my final sem, final straw and the thing I ever wanted is to have a mortar board placed nicely on my head =)

12.2.2011 is the day I'll never forget. The day I lost my HTC

Sob...
Well, it happened at Gelato, 1U. It's my first time dining at Gelato and my first time there with my love one too. Sighh... Everything was so perfect that day. It was a happy day, we had our usual walk and decided to stop by at Gelato. We picked our heart's desired flavors and settled down on a comfy sofa, ready to be swept away by the sweetness of the ice cream. We were talking , laughing, sharing stories, sharing thoughts, and I even took some pictures of our first ever scoop of Gelato!
After consuming the tasty desert, we decided to head for home, and so to the car park we went. Upon reaching the car park, I felt something amiss. I opened my handbag and searched my bag only to realize my handbag's kinda empty! My hand phone wasn't in there!!! In a state of panic and in the hope that it's could be hanging around somewhere near me, I asked my love to call my phone. He dialed a few times but there's no ringing around me. I froze to the core at that point. I couldn't believe it. How can I be so careless?!
Upon realizing the possible sour truth, bee and I headed straight back to Gelato, calling my phone in the meantime, with the silly me hoping whoever picked up my phone would pick up the call and return me my phone. How stupid can I be? I shouldn't have asked bee to call :( After a few tries of hoping to reach my phone, the thief knew the owner's coming back and hence totally shut down my phone!!)
**BIG WAILs!!!!**
We reached Gelato about 15 mins after we left just now. We went to the same spot we sat earlier, asked the couple currently dining there if they have seen my phone.. To my dismay, they did not :( Well, who would if the thief had already taken it? Sigh... Strange thing is, as the couple answered, they asked to call and hear if there's any ringtone. As they said this, they kept looking at the girl who had been sitting on the same spot before we left. Bee called again but our calls couldn't get through anymore :(
Everything's just bleak and hopeless. We questioned the girl, and Gelato staffs, everyone denied seeing my phone. Sigh.. I suppose no thief would be that stupid to admit a crime right? After a hopeless search, we filed a stolen item report to 1U management. Well, I must say the security officer is kind enough to help investigate. Unfortunately, everything just turned against us. Even the CCTV (4) nearby weren't functioning. What a day huh! Sigh...
Until today, I don't even know if I forgot to place my phone in my handbag or that my hand phone actually slipped out of my bag :( I miss my phone I miss my HTC :( I barely used the phone for a few months. Less than 6 months actually :(((
Damn sad...
Sigh.. There's nothing much I can do except blaming on my careless-ness and learn from my mistake :(
**Back to present**
Today, my bee gave me the prettiest red roses I ever desired and cute little hearts that holds best memory I can ever ask for + a little exercise tool I requested :P
Thank you very much bee. I'm touched that you gave me all I desired despite your busy schedule =') I can't wait for Saturday's dinner ^^
That's all for now. Oh, before I forget, I've decided to join Toastmasters Club in Monash. Hope I could gain benefits from it and before I put an end note to this post, I'd like to say that, being my final sem, I am gonna make full use of my final 4 months here, getting into Toastmasters Club, enhance my public speaking skills and get good grades and make a bombastic exit ;)
I hope my every wish would come true this year. God bless!!
Edit: Not joining Toastmasters anymore. I shall concentrate on my subjects and join anytime after graduating ;)
