The Other Guys

I've just reached home after a movie + an errand done. I've headed over to Tropicana Mall with hubbie today, went for lunch + movie. It was also my first time at the mall. Well surprisingly, the mall's quite nice + neat and tidy, it's a weekend, but the crowd was just minimal. Quite unexpected. Perhaps due to its not-strategic-famous location? I wonder..


Anyway, I went and watched The Other Guys, starring Dwayne Johnson, Mark Wahlberg, Samuel L. Jackson and Will Ferrell. At the first glance of the poster + trailer,and having seen so many of these mega stars, I would expect something bombastic. Unfortunately, I think instead, the movie was a FLOP! 


Firstly, Dwayne Johnson's entrance into the movie, would make you think he's gonna pull some awesome stunts, however instead, his appearance in the movie lasted for only about...10 minutes? Fine. But his exit of the movie was also somewhat.. nonsensical. Why would you jump down from a 20 storey building rather than performing some heroic cop buster thing? Hmm... or maybe I didn't catch the story line well?

Too bad your appearances went too short!

I don't fancy this movie as I think it's rather silly. The supposedly jokes turned out...dumb! Mark had been yelling around ALMOST the whole time, which makes it quite irritating after some time, and Will Ferrell's losing control of his temper at times were just...I don't know. I find his way of losing temper were just way too out of ordinary.

If only the guys had pulled such stunts!

Well then, enough said, or else I'll be spoiling the movie for those who hasn't watched it :P

In a nutshell, it's definitely not a recommended movie xD
